Emma Jones is a Specialist SEN Tutor with extensive experience supporting children and young people from the primary sector right up to the age of 25. Emma has particular interest in supporting neurodiverse learners in mainstream settings. Her approach is informed by both professional expertise and personal insight to create inclusive, child-centred learning environments.

Session 1: The Inclusive Classroom

In this session, Emma discusses what inclusion means, explores barriers to participation, learning and wellbeing in the classroom, and identifies steps to remove them for all.

Session 2: Assess-Plan-Do-Review

In this session, Emma identifies legal responsibilities for teachers, examines each stage of the Assess-Plan-Do-Review (APDR) cycle, and discusses strategies to make the process manageable and effective.

Session 3: Supporting Reading and Writing for Learners with Complex Needs in Mainstream Classrooms

In this session, Emma shares practical strategies for supporting pupils with complex literacy and language needs in mainstream classrooms.
