Dyscalculia for EPs Session 2: Dyscalculia and Maths Anxiety

With extensive experience working directly with children and professionals, Amanda leads specialist training for school staff across England and chairs a national working group focused on reducing maths anxiety. Her work reflects a holistic understanding of the emotional and cognitive barriers that can affect mathematical learning, and she is dedicated to equipping professionals with practical strategies to make a lasting difference.

In this session, Amanda explores the principles of assessing for dyscalculia, investigates the criteria for a dyscalculia diagnosis and looks at the assessment tools currently available for EPs.

This session is open to qualified educational psychologists or those currently enrolled on an educational psychology training course. Attendees of the live session will receive a certificate of attendance; please note that certificates cannot be issued for recorded sessions due to the inability to verify engagement.
